We’re looking for a Part-Time Youth Pastor

About us
Our mission is to build a church that pleases God, serve the local community, and share the love of God. Currently, two Nazarene sister churches are merging to become a multilingual church. As part of this transformation, we are seeking a youth pastor.
Our goal is to hire a leader who loves teenagers and desires to help them become the best versions of themselves, realizing their full redemptive potential and calling. Currently, we have 15 registered students from 6th to 12th grade, with an average Sunday attendance of about 10 students.

Key responsibilities
· Youth Service on Sundays: Preach to the youth 3-4 times a month. Once a month, we have a family worship service where everyone gathers to worship together.
· Occasional After-Service Activities: This could include outings like bowling, grabbing boba drinks, or simply hanging out and spending quality time with the students. An activity allowance is provided for these events.
· Seasonal Events:
o Lead: Annual youth conference and occasional outreach events.
o Assist: Easter Egg Hunt, Summer VBS, Hallelujah Party on Halloween, Christmas services, and other seasonal activities.
· Build authentic relationship with students, provide spiritual guidance, mentorship, Christian counseling, and most of all, love them with the love of Jesus Christ.
Qualifications we’re looking for
· A deep and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
· A degree or current enrollment in a related field (Theology or Christian Education) is preferred.
· An experience in youth ministry or a related field
· A willingness work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and parents
Job Type: Part-time | 20 Hours a week
Sunday 10am-3pm (5 hours). 15 hours throughout the week in preparation for Sunday and interacting with students. Also, may require more hours on special events.
Pay: $2,000 per month
