Job Summary:
New Hope Church is prayerfully seeking a part-time Sunday School Minister (approximately 8 hours/week, primarily on Sundays) to provide spiritual leadership and ministerial support for children at New Hope Church.
Salary Range: $1,200 - $1,500 per month
Roles & Responsibilities:
The Sunday School Minister will lead children's discipleship efforts through the creation and support of Jesus-centered, growth-oriented ministries. Responsibilities include:
- Loving each child and fostering a supportive environment.
- Building relationships with youth through activities, Sunday preaching, Bible studies/discussions, retreats, and praise nights.
- Attending the Prayer Meeting and monthly pastoral staff meetings.
- Supporting the overall ministry of the church in any possible way.
Requirements:
- A born-again disciple of Christ with a daily relationship with Jesus through quiet time.
- A sense of calling to youth ministry, with seminary training or currently enrolled in training.
- Strong interpersonal skills with youth and their parents.
- A self-starter capable of creating, planning, and implementing Children ministries.
- A team player who supports all church ministries.
- Familiarity and comfort with Asian cultural settings.
