Olympia
Hana Presbyterian Church is a Bible-believing, evangelical congregation located
in Olympia, the capital city of Washington State, approximately one hour south
of Seattle. Founded 44 years ago, our church is a growing congregation
affiliated with ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians.
As God
continues to bless and grow our ministry, we are seeking a full-time
bilingual (Korean/English) Associate Pastor who has a passion for
shepherding God's people, equipping the next generation, and serving both our
Korean-speaking and English-speaking ministries.
Ministry
Responsibilities
1.
Korean Ministry Administration
- Prepare and manage the weekly
church bulletin.
- Maintain and update the church
website.
- Upload sermon videos and oversee
online media.
- Coordinate and assist with
worship service preparation.
- Provide general pastoral and
administrative support.
2.
Preaching Ministry
- Preach during the Senior Pastor's
absence.
- Lead and preach at weekday early
morning prayer services.
3.
English Ministry & Next Generation
- Lead the Youth Ministry (middle
and high school), including Sunday worship and weekly Bible study.
- Supervise the Children's Ministry
and provide leadership and support for teachers.
- Lead Bible studies for the
College and Young Adult Ministry.
- Develop and lead worship services
for English-speaking members of the congregation.
Qualifications
Applicants
should:
- Be fluent in both Korean and
English.
- Hold a Master of Divinity
(M.Div.) or degree from an
accredited seminary.
- Be an ordained minister, or
eligible for ordination/transference in ECO.
- Demonstrate a vibrant evangelical
faith and a commitment to biblical preaching and pastoral ministry.
- Affirm the theological
convictions of ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians.
- Possess a servant's heart and
enjoy working with children, youth, young adults, and families.

pastoral recommendation letters (Sent directly from the recommenders to
the search committee email).
7. One
elder recommendation letter (Sent directly from the recommender to the
search committee email).
Compensation
- Salary: US $60,000
Compensation may be adjusted based on
qualifications and ministry experience.
