Position Overview:
New York Friends Church is seeking a Christ-centered, passionate, and reliable Part-Time Youth Pastor to shepherd and disciple our middle and high school students. This leader will be responsible for leading Friday night youth group Bible studies and Sunday services, building authentic relationships with students, and partnering with families to nurture lasting faith in Jesus Christ.
This position is ideal for someone who loves working with youth, has strong biblical teaching ability, and desires to serve a growing community of young believers in a multicultural church setting.
Key Responsibilities:Friday Night Youth Group
- Lead and teach engaging Bible studies on Friday evenings.
- Organize games, discussions, and prayer time to foster spiritual growth and connection.
- Build a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for all students.
Sunday Services
- Oversee youth ministry during Sunday service (e.g., youth message, small group, or participation in main service).
- Encourage youth engagement in worship, service, and fellowship.
Qualifications:
- Graduated or current Seminary Student.
- A personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for youth ministry.
- Experience in youth ministry or church leadership (volunteer or paid).
- Strong communication, relational, and teaching skills.
- Able to commit to regular Friday and Sunday ministry times.
Time Commitment & Compensation:
- Part-time position (~10–15 hours/week)
- Includes Friday nights, Sundays, and preparation during the week.
- Compensation: ~$2500 Per month

Pay: From $2,500.00 per month
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
