EM Pastor Position (Full-Time)
EM Ministry, the English Ministry of Bethany Presbyterian Church in Atlant, seeks a full-time pastor to shepherd its congregation. English Ministry of Bethany Church consists of the 2nd, and 3rd generations. We seek a person with an unmistakable call to serve the Korean-American church.
Ministry Expectations:
-Lead Lord’s Day worship services
-Prepare and preach biblically-based sermons
-Work with the worship team on a weekly basis
-Lead the Education Department (youth ministry, children’s ministry)
-Maintain communication with all members via social media
-Visit and care for members on a regular basis
-Lead the outreach ministry to local
-Collaborate with the KM pastoral staff
-Attend all required meetings
-Cooperate when it comes to all church functions/events
-Maintain good records and keep track of administrative tasks
Qualifications:
-Must have a definite calling to full-time ministry in the Korean-American church
-Must have a Master of Divinity degree from an accredited seminary/divinity school
-Must have some prior ministry experience as a pastor, or pastoral intern
-Must be a U.S. citizen or have at least legal residency in the U.S.
Salary Package:
-In accordance with church salary regulations.
-Will be discussed during the interview stage
