CHILDREN’S MINISTRY PASTOR
Eden Presbyterian Church of Oregon seeks a Children’s Ministry Pastor to shepherd its youngest members towards greater maturity in Christ. We are a Korean-American church affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), which is a denomination that strives to remain faithful to God’s Word, true to the reformed faith, and obedient to the Great Commission.
A. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• Background in Christian Education
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• General agreement with the reformed faith
B. JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Lead our Children’s Ministry Worship Service every Sunday
• Share a short Bible lesson for our children every Sunday
• Lead our weekly children’s discipleship program (AWANA)
• Organize our annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) program
C. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
• Resume
• Cover Letter introducing yourself
• 2 Video Recordings of Bible lessons or sermons you prepared for children
• 2 Reference Letters: (1) your current pastor and (2) any leader from your church
D. COMPENSATION
• Based on prior ministry experience and educational background
• A relocation fee may be provided if moving from a different state
• Salary, housing allowance, and benefits are negotiable
E. APPLICATION PROCESS
• Last date to submit an application is November 15, 2021
