Korean Central Presbyterian Church of Cleveland is searching for Associate pastor for
KCPC who will be in charge of English Ministry. KCPC was established in 1977 in the
suburbs of Cleveland Ohio. We have been blessed by God in the last 40 years and have grown to
over 450 members with vibrant Korean and English Ministry. Though we are predominately
made up of Korean-Americans, our English ministry is multi-ethnic and multi-generational. Our
EM worship attendance ranges from 60-70 a week with 4 elders, 6 deacons and lay leaders. We
have an active college and young adult ministry.
The mission of our church is to glorify God, the Creator of the Universe, as we:
• Worship Him in spirit and in truth
• Proclaim Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior
• Follow the path of Christ as revealed in scripture
• Serve those who are in need
• Fellowship with one another as brothers and sisters in Christ
• Teach and apply the Bible
• Rejoice in pleasing God
• Spread the Good News in our community and around the world
In addition, the mission of the English Ministry (EM) as stated in our weekly bulletin is to:
• Bring people to Jesus Christ and the unity of the Holy Spirit through demonstrating God’s love in
word and deed
• Edify one another for spiritual maturity and fruitful ministry
• Empower others for mission in the world, all for the glory of God
Requirements: Master of Divinity, Fluent in speaking and writing English
Preferably 2-5 year’s experience in ministry. An assent to speak Korean but not mandatory.
